AWS consulting

Architecture review, VPC and IAM design, cost discipline, and well-architected trade-offs — taught and delivered the way production teams actually run it. Useful when you need a Solutions Architect who has also trained AWS reStart cohorts, not only drawn diagrams.

AI/ML & RAG consulting

RAG and LLM integration on enterprise documents and operational data — with evaluation so you know whether it works, and an honest opinion when AI is not the right answer.

SQL & Oracle (secondary)

Database and SQL performance tuning on Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL and Snowflake. Migrations and upgrades (8i → 26ai), multitenant strategy, RMAN and HA. This is where seventeen years of the work actually sat — still available when the cloud or AI engagement depends on a healthy data layer.

How engagements usually run

• Diagnostic — a few days; written findings with prioritised recommendations. Often the whole engagement.
• Project — defined outcome and end date: migration, tuning programme, warehouse or RAG build. Fixed scope, agreed milestones.
• Retained advisor — set days each month for design review, escalations and mentoring.
